How to Play

  1. 1Two teams face each other across a 5m × 8m pitch. Ten kubbs (wooden blocks) line the baselines, with the king in the center.
  2. 2Teams alternate turns throwing six batons underhand, end over end — no helicopter or sideways spins.
  3. 3Knock down your opponent's baseline kubbs. They then toss those fallen kubbs into your half and stand them up as field kubbs.
  4. 4Field kubbs must be cleared before you can attack the baseline again. Miss them, and your opponent advances their throwing line.
  5. 5Once every kubb is down, take out the king to win. Fell the king early and you lose instantly.

League games run one hour each as a weekly double header. Only two players are needed to play a game, though rosters carry at least four.
